Butter is Selling well. It is now prao ticaJly certain that the Government price will be reduciyl by at least fourpence in the middle o£ March. Cheese is firm. New Zealand white, 146s to 148s per cwt.; coloured, 150s to 160s. ' \
The .Government is offering 10,000 crates of old Australian and New Zealand cheese, some eighteen months old, to.importers, at 116s to 1265, according to condition. ,
