COLLEGE GOVERNORS
The College Board of Governors held its monthly meeting to-day, Mr. W. F. Ward presiding. Others present were : Sir E. 0. Gibbes.the Mayor (Mr. J. P. Luke), and Messrs. T. Forsyth, W. H. Field, R. Darroch, and W. H. Denton. A financial statement showed a debit bank balance of £69 13s Bd, but a sum of £64 16s lodged but not,credited gave a credit of £5 2s 4d. Payments required were : Wellington College £1568 6s 3d; Girls' College, £1243 7e lid. 'Reports from the colleges were received and considered, and it was decided to adopt the suggestion of the Boys' College Principal that a visiting committee be appointed.
