KIRKWOOD DOES WELL AT WANGANUI. (BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCrAHON.I WANGANUI, This Day. On the Wanganui links on Saturday, playing in a gale of wind, Kirkwood, the Victorian golfer, went the round in 70— a record. He missed three short putts, otherwise he would have scored 67. Since Arthur Duncan's 72 in of 1911, the links have been lengthened and bunkered, and are now four strokes harder.
