MARRIAGE LAWS.
Consideration of the Hon. ■J. MacGregor's Marriage Amendment Bill (No. 2) was again postponed in the Legislative Council yesterday. 'In asking for the postponement Mr. MacGregor said that it was the opinion of several members of the Council that it would be better that the matter should not be discussed while consideration of the first Bill was pending in the House of Representatives. He was given leave to postpone the second , reading for a week.
