At Jersey City Carpentier Knocked out Levinsky in the fourth round. Boxing devotees declare that Carpentier's fighting left rauch to be desired. Levinsky was notably weak and uncommendabl'e. Carpentier entered the rjng at 17041b. and Levinsky at 1751b. In, the firs' round both men fought coolly. They •were sparring energetically when the bell went. In the second round Carpentier sent his left and right to the jaw, knocking down Lovinsky twice for a count of eight. Lovinsky was dizzy at the bell. In the third round Levinsky clinched, landing a, light blow on Carpentier's body. In the fourth round Carpentier landed lefts and rights at will, and finally gliding half-way across the ring he knocked out his opponent with a right to the jaw.
