M'SWINEY MAY LAST ANOTHER MONTH. LONDON, 12th October. M'Swiney has completed sixty-one days' hunger-strike at Biixton, moat of t'hi> time being spent in bed. They declare that there is no evidence that he has taken nourishment, but outside medical opinion is sceptical, especially as his condition shows comparatively little wastage and his temperature is almost normal. M'Swiney drinks much water, also a, saline mixture for purification of the blood. It is unofficially suggested that relatives who visit him daily give him spirits, ".Tines, and fruit juices. Twelve hunger-strikers in Cork Prison have completed: a fast of sixty-three days.
