The Director of the Petone Technical School, Mr. Lynskey, has recently received, on behalf of the school, two most valuable gifts, one from Mrs. Harris (widow of Mr. W. J. Ha-iyis, late ot Zl, Hutt-road, Petone), who has presented the school with a cabinet, tho work ot her late husband, containing beautifuUyfmiehed models of joinery, as applied to staircase work, and also three valuable works on architecture and architectural drawing. The second gift was made by Mr. Pen Arrowsmith. who presented the sohool with seven modern and profuselyillustrated books on engineering. Messrs. E. Johnston ahd Co. will sell furniture to-morrow, at 10.30 a.m., m their rooms; on Monday, af 1.30 p.m., at No. 33, Waipapa-road. ____.
