SYNOPSIS OF LAST 24 HOUBS. Strong northerly to westerly winds have prevailed, and the weather has been Unsettled and squally with rain generally. Some heavy falls occurred during the night in various parts of the Dominion. Atmosphric preessure has decreased further nearly everywhere, but has been very unsteady in the extreme South.

Warning signals for westerly gales are exhibited at Cape Maria Van Diemen, Tintm (East Cape interrupted). Castlepoint. Cape Campbell, Stephen Island, Farewell Spit, Cape Foulwind, and Nugget Point.
