RESTLESS PEASANTS
MANY RISINGS REPORTED.

Reports are current of a multiplicity of risings against th« Reds in different parts of Russia. A reliable source learns that the peasants in the SaratoS district have revolted on a large scale. Communist forces have been sent to suppress another peasant rising reported at Smolensk. Chineae troops stamped out a revolt at Kronstadt with much, bloodshed. It is stated that the social revolutionaries Petrovsky, Spiridonova, Tartofs, and Tschernoff gathered at Ni.jni Novgorod denounced the Moscow Government, znd issued a call for the summoning of a Constituent Assembly.
