AUCKLAND COAL SUPPLY

(BI TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.)

AUCKLAND, 12th October.

The position regarding the Waikato supply showed no change to-day. The Huntly and Botowaro mineß worked full time, and practically a normal output.of coal was maintained. The Pukemiro mine is still idle. The Gas Company has already received some coal from Newcastle, andws expecting further shipments, so that no difficulty should be experienced in resuming the gas supply on Thursday, and continuing it for some time.
