Veronica (1 p.m.), Commander Lewar, for Westport The Gisborne Sheep Farmers' steamer Tiroa arrived at Wellington last evening from Gisbornc to load a boiler and other machinery for ii freezing works at Hicks Bay. Captain Jacl;son-Fowler is in charge of the Tiroa. the Government steamer Tutanekai arrived back at Wellington yesterday from Westport Owing to heavy seas the vessel was unable to land stores at the Kahurangi Point lighthouse. The Tntanekiii will probably go back, to the West Coast later to land stores. The Kowhal arrived a: Wellington last evening with 170,000 ft of timber from Kaipara. BY TELEGRAPH.
