Senator Harding, in a speech at Oklahoma. City, pointed out that while President Wilson's Administration, had sought to impose its altruism upon the world, Britain had acquired the control of 90, per cent, of the world's oil supply. "There is a real danger," he said, "that Americans may presently find themselves : shut off from equal opportunities." NEW YORK, 9th Octobor. Mr. Herbert Hoover, in a speech, at Indianapolis, stated that he believed since the Armistice the Wilson Administratioil had made a, failure by all tests that could be applied. The Republican party supported the principle of the preservation of peace by organised international action, and it differs with the Democrats only concerning the method and responsibility. Thy Government should be transferred to the Republicans.
