THE INDIAN DISASTER
DELHI, 9th- October.
It is suspected that the train was wrecked by discontented coolies, who had previously been dismissed. Five carriages were telescoped. No Europeans were killed, but over thirteen Indians were killed, and many were wounded. The Europeans passengers rendered first aid with scarves and handkerchiei'6. The disaster occurred at eleven o'clock at night.. . Fires vvero lit alongside tihe wreckage to help the rescuers. ;
