KARORI HOCKEY CLUB
A most successful gathering was held last -week at the Karori Bowling Olub Pavilion, the . occasion' being the coming of age of the Karori Hockey Club. ThePresident (Mr. B. G. H. Burp), who was in the chair, said that the club had not grown in membership daring the last year or two, but he hoped that next season this would be remedied, and that members would show improvement in their standard of play. During the evening a number of toasts were honoured, and musical items were given by Messrs. T. Watchman, F. Campbell, -Hodge, M'lntosh, Duncan, E. Bowden, Shortie, and Hargreaves.:,
