V.M.C.A. CLUB.
A further move in the progress of athletic sports is the formation of a new body—the V.M.C.A. Amateur Athletic Club—which came about as the result of a sports rally The clut has an opening membership of 40, and the officials are as follow :—president, Mr. A. P. Smith; vice-presidents, Messrs. Barker, O'Sullivan, V French, and M. Tracey; committee, Messrs R. A Philpotts, A. J. Bruce, — Gray, H. J. Billings, C. Campbell, C. H. Wilson, and E. Dalton; secretary, Mr C S Scott.
