ATHLETIC CLUB.

The Athletic Football Sports' Club held its annual meeting this week, Mr. H. W. Thompson presiding over a good attendance of members. The report and ■balance-sheet, details of which have been published, were adopted. It was decided to write to the Victoria University A.A. Club, with a view to holding a joint afternoon meeting. A proposal 'that all members under 16 years of age ■ba admitted free to the club was carried.

Guise; club captain, Mr. J. Troy; delegates to Wellington Centre, •Messrs. J. Lundon and A. Travers; hon. starter, Mr. T. W. Leslie; hon. handicappers, Messrs. A. Hugh and A. C. Kitto; ■hon. secretary, Mr W. Wanden; hon. treasurer, Mr D. Alabaster; management committee, Messrs. R. Adams, H. G. Wilson, . Hall, G. Heley, Calcina.i, Mills, F. M, Pool, R. Casey, and L. Richardson. Ten new members were elected.
