The Discharged Soldiers Settlement Loan Bill will be taken by the House of Representatives to-day, and will probably occupy the whole of the evening. The Prime Minister has promised to give the House important information regarding, the war debt and the accumulated surpluses, and he will do so in this Bill. The Land and Income Tax: Amendment Bill is second on the Order Paper, but is not likely to be reached.
