The Daily Mail, reflecting on the changed attitude regarding M'Swiney, declares that the wondering public are asking how it is done. Though he has fasted for fifty-four days, his hand is steady enough to shave himself every morning, and he reads the newspaper daily with interest. Official reports state there is no reason to think his death is near, and he is in no immediate 'danger.
