WEEK-END WEATHER
High southerly and westerly winds, ■with cold, boisterouß and wet weather have been experienced generally, with snow in the South. West Coast rivers are still high, but are falling- generally. The barometer is rising- steadily, and though floutherliea are likely to prevail, strong- to gale at times, they will have a. westerly tendency, and are likely to decrease after 24 or 36 hour.?. Squally and changeable weather may bo expected in the meantime, with rain probable generally and snow on tho higher levels. Much colder, weather may follow.
