TROOPS AND POLICE ATTACKED
(Received August,,27, 9 a.m.) LONDON,\2Sth August. ■■ Constable Haugh was shot dead at Bantry. Another constable was killed at Mount Temple. Four disguised men fired at three constables at Glengarriff, killing Constable M'Namara and seriously injuring Constable deary. . (Received Augußt. 27, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 25th August. Armed civilians assailed a party of Cameronians near Queenstown, and killed one and wounded others. They then belaboured the soldiers, stole their arms, and escaped.
