MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Mr. J. S. Evans, S.M., dealt with police cases at the Magistrate's Court to-day. Susan M'LaugMin and William Woods, who had both been three times convicted of drunkenness, were ordered to pay fines of 20s or to go to gaol ior 24 hours! Samuel M'Donald was convicted on charges of drunkenness, having; committed an indecent act in Cuba-street and haying used obscene language. , He was given the option of paying a fine of 5s or going to gaol for 24 liouri'on the first charge, but on the second ho was -sent to gaol for 48 hours, and on" the-third 1 for'seven days.
