M'Gavin must go to gaol for three days if ho fails to pay Smith and Smith, Ltd., £5 ls.6d by 10th August. Frank Hunt must pay Brownlee, Ltd., the sum of £20 12s 6d by 10th August or go to gaol for 14 days. An order was made that D. M. Gorman is to pay A. R. Oxley the sum of £63 3s by 17th August or sorvo 28 days' imprisonment. DRESS ALLOWANCE. Kirkoaldie and Stains (Mr. H. E. And. erson) sought to recover £24 12s 9d from, G. W. Evans, of Otane, Hawkes Bay (Mr. T. Jordan) in respect of articles 1 of clothing purchased by the defendant's wife, .who prefers to live in Wellington. After hearing evidence the Magistrate disallowed the inclusion of certain .articles which ho considered had been unnecessarily purchased, but found for plaintiffs in the sum of £20 lls lid, with costs.
