SYDNEY, This Day. The Board of Control has submitted for the approval" of the Marylebone Club the programme of proposed matches to be played by the English Eleven in Australia. In all there are twenty-six fixtures, including nine two-day matches in country centres. The team is expected to arrive at Fremantle on 21st October, and to open its tour with a. three-days' match against West Australia, commencing on the 23rd. The principal fixtures, with t their commencing dates, are:—Against South Australia, sth November ; cgainst Victoria, 12th November: against New South Wales, 19th November; against Queensland, 27th November; against the Australian Eleven at Brisbane, 3rd. December; firs; test match, in Sydney, 17th ; second test match, in Melbourne, 31st December; third test match, in Adelaide, 14th January; against Victoria, 4th February; fourth test match, in Melbourne, 11th February ; against New South Wales, 18th February; fiffa Test maich, in Sydney, 25th February; against South Australia, 11th March.
