. A return match between the Karori Golf Club'and the Waiwetu Golf Club was played on the links of the latter club on iSa'feurday, and resulted in a win for Waiwetu by seven matches to nil, with one halved. The individual matches were as follow, naming, the Karori players first, viz :—Rhodes lost to Black, Turner lost to Gwilliam, Dycett lost to Whitehead, Ardell loat to Can-, Hart, senr., lost to Cook, Griffiths halved with Hobbs, Hart junr., lost to Macaskill, Rowlands lost to Pringle.
