PRODUCERS' INTERESTS
The conference of producers, brokers, exporters, shipping company representatives, and others interested in the pending termination of Imperial contracts was continued last evening. The Minister for Agriculture (Mr. Noteworthy) was present. .At the stage in the proceedings reached when The Post went to press yesterday, the various Sections represented had retired ' from the conference to discuss and report upcgi their special interests. In the evening they submitted to the coftferlence the result of their deliberations in the form of resolutions. These were not available for publication on application being made to the Board of Agriculture. It was there learned that (he "sectional" resolutions ' above referred to have first to be submitted to the Prime Minister.
It was arranged that a committee be set up to-be representative of the following interests :—Government, 2, one of which shall be a producer; producers, 4; banks, 2; freezing companies, 2.
