IRISH PILGRIMS
RECEPTION BY THE POPE.
(Received May 28, 2.45 p.m.) ROME, 27th May.
The Pope, attended by Cardinal Logue, received four hundred Irish pilgrims. The Pope said that the beatification of Oliver Plunket occurred at a time, when Ireland more than ever needed the help of heaven to attain what legitimately belonged to her.
