MANUFACTURING JEWELLERS

There was a large attendance at the annual meeting of the Wellington Manufacturing Jewellers' Industrial Association of Workers held at the Trades Hall on Wednesday night. The following officers were elected:—President, Mr. J. B. Flick; vice-president, Mr. A. Rlratnp; secretary, Mr. T. S. Abbott; treasurer. Mr. W. Haycroft; trustees, Messrs. Abbott, and Holloway ; committee, Messrs. J. Renkin, A. A. E. Morrison. The retiring secretary (Mr. J. P. Moar) was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for his past services'. The annual report and balance-sheet were adopted. The latter showed a satisfactory credit balance.
