Upon arrival Sir Thomas Smartt (leader of the South African Unionist Party) entered the closed van and covered the coffin with the Union Jack' which had covered the coffin of Cecil Rhodes. Subsequently the train proceeded to the foot of the Matoppo Hills. The body will be interred in a. famed portion of the Matoppos known as ''the world's view," where . Cecil Rhodes's, grave is situated.
