PHENOMENAL INCREASE IN TRADE.

(Received May 24, 10 a.m.) LONDON, 22nd May. s The value of exports from Ireland is increasing in remarkably proportion, ow- v ing to the rise in prices. The. total exports in 1919 were valued at £64.000,000, as compared with £24,000,000 in 1918. The export of poultry, eggs, and feathers inoreaeed from £3,500,000 to £18,500,000: The standard of bank deposits had also increased. An extraordinary demand prevails for all classes . of goods, including luxuries. Motors are replacing donkey-carts. j
