It was decided that legislation should be introduced providing for the uniform marking of Australian-made goods. The Conference adopted a proposal under which a member of the State Parliament may sfca-nd for the Federal Parliament without, his seat in tho State Parliament becoming vacant, and if not elected hb may automatically return to the State House, ,
