JUNIOR REPRESENTATIVE GAME.

A junior representative cricket match —Canterbury v. Wellington—is to be played at Anderson's Park on Saturday and Monday next. Trophies—three bats —are offered for the Canterbury players, as follows:—(1), By Mr. A. E. G. Rhodes, for the most meritorious performance; (2) by Mr. B. B. Woods, for the best field; and (3) by Mr. G. T. Weston, for the best bowling performance ; provided, however, that no man is to get more than one bat. In such case, the second bat will go to the next best man if his performance is worthy of the prize.
