A NEW HOUSE BURNT
(BI TELEGRAPH.—PMSS ASSOCIATION.) THAMES, This Day. A fire occurred at Totara Point last night, in which a new seven-roomed house ■owned by Eugene Flynn arid containing new furniture was totally destroyed. Flynn and his wife were away in Auckland. Their two daughters had a narrow escape, and had to leave the building through a window. Particulars of the insurances are not available. The house was beyond the water supply area.
