PETONE-HUTT GAS DISPUTE
The Lower Hutt Borough Council held ,i special meeting last evening, to consider the recommendations of the. Board of Trade in regard to the dispute with Pelone on tho gas question. It was decided to ask the Petone Council to meet the Lower Hutt Council in conference to discuss the question of joint ownership of the manufacturing plant at a price to be fixed by arbitraiton on the lines suggested by the Board of Trade. Tho Hutt Comicir agreed 1 that tho re J commendations of the board offered 1 the best solution of the vexed question.
