James Norton was fined the amount of his bail (£1) for - a second offence of drunkenness within the statutory period of six months, and Danie] Murphy, a third offender, who appeared to answer the charge, waa given the option of paying a fine of £1 or going to gaol for fortyeight hours. .,.,,
' S. Corliss was fined £5, in default a ■week's imprisonment, for having committed an indecent act in Sydney-street. Robert Thomas was fined- ss-for drunkenness, and £1 for breaking his prohibition order. Daniel Devlin was also convicted on charges of drunkenness and breaking his prohibition order. . On the first he was ordered to pay 17s 6d medical expenses, and, on the second,-a fine of£l. (Proceeding.)
