LODGE MEETING

The Star of Wellington Lodge, No. 12, 1.0.0.T.. held its general weekly session in St. Peter's Mission Hall, Taranakistreet. The C.T., Bvo. Simpson, presided, and there was a largo attendance, including visitors .from the Pioneer, Wellington, Victory, and Now town Lodges, also two visitors from the House of Christchurch Lodge. Sister Sweeney, of Ohristchurch, gave a short and interesting resume of the progress of work amongst the children., and in. the adult lodge, in the Cathedral City. Greetings were exchanged mutually. Correspondence dealing with an invitation to visit the Pioneer Lodge at its next meeting was received and accepted. A recess then followed. Excellent, talent contributed to the evening's entertainment. Bro. W. Ingram drew, attention to tht fact that Sis. Webb had completed 45 years' service in the Pioneer Lodge of Good Templars. Several old members who have been associated with the Order for very many years testified to tho interest which Sis. Webb had shown in lodge matters, and wished her a long life of useful and devoiori service to tho cause. Sis. Webb responded, and the singing of tho National Anthem closed a vary successful meeting.
