PORT SYDNEY.

From Newcastle the C. and D. Line steamer Port Sydney arrived at Auckland on Sunday night. The vessel had a fine weather trip across the Tasman. The Port Sydney carried Australian troops from England. She has 1100 tons of cargo for Auckland, mainly iron and steel rails. The vessel will proceed to Napier and Wellington for discharge. She is due here on the Ist January. The Port Sydney will then go to Wanganui to load a part cargo, and will return to Wellington to complete. She is expected to sail for Home on the 20th January.
