A cahle message received in Wellington today by Dalgety and Co. states that the Liberty, wh.ch left New York1 on the 22nd November for New Zealand ports with cargo, lias had to return to Panama owing to a mishap. She will be delayed about three weeks or a month and a general average will probably be taken on her cargo
