M. Sadi Le Comte, flying at Villa Coublay, averaged 307 kilometres '225 metres per hour for several seconds touching" the amazing rate of 354 kilometres. SSS metres.
[The first speed given is approximately 192 miles per hour, and the second is just under 228 miles an hoilr.]
