PRINCE OF WALES
HIS VISIT TO AUSTRALASIA.

AN EXTENSIVE TOUR OF NEW ZEALAND.
(Received December 18> 1 p.m.) .LONDON, 17th December. No definite arrangements have yet ' been made for the Prince of Wales's trip to Australia arid New Zealand. It'is understood that he goes aboard a warship The arinouricement was .made informally, when presiding at a council meeting of a hospital fund, in order to explain why he would be absent from the council meeting in May. The Prince added "His Majesty is sending me to Australia and New 'Zealand, and this will necessitate my leaving, about March." Tho Prince will visit all the principal towns in Australia and New Zealand, including the West Australian mining districts. He alfeo goes inlaid over the States to inspect agricultural, pastoral, and other industries. He will participate in bush sports, and it is believed that the Feltbh-Barry sculling match, will Ijd fixed to coincide with fclie Prince's stay in Sydney. The Prince intends to make an extensive tour of New Zealand, including the beauty spots, It is possible that he will cross the Pacific and return through Canada.
