LYNCHING BY A MOB

NEW YORK, 12th November.
At Centralia, in the State of Washington, a mob lynched a member of the I.W.W. from a railway bridge. After the man's death, four soldiers were shot at with revolvers as they -were passing the I.W.W. headquarters during a Victory parade. Troops are endeavouring to restore order.
(Received November 13, 9.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, 12th Nov. Senator Johnson; in the House of Representatives, said the outrage at Centralia obviously was an attempt at industrial revolution. Syndicalism and communism were rampant, and the United States must purge itself of eeditionists and revolutionists. (Received November 13, 9,30 »,m,) a NEW YORK, 12th Nov. At Oakland, California, soldiers raided the I.W.W. headquarters, wrecked the building, and burnt the contents.
