WANGANUI, Sth Aujrust.

The inquest on George Vincent, who died! in the hospital on 20th July, was resumed this morning. After hearing further police evidence, the following verdict was returned:—The cause of death was media stalitis and septic pneumonia, resulting from injuries received. How those injuries were caused there is no evidence to show, but the physical condition of deceased, owing to his having been drinking to excess for some time, contributed to his death.

'A rider was added that there was not a particle of evidence to show that doceased met with, any violence at the hands of the proprietor of the Aramoho Hotel or, any of his employees. [Before his death deceased alleged that he had' been forcibly, put out of the hotel by the proprietor and one of his servants.]
