UNIONS IN CONFERENCE.

SYDNEY, This Day.
Mr. T. Walsh, general secretary of the Federated Seamen's Union, has been arrested for an offence under the Arbitration Act.
A conference of the unions concerned ia the maritime strike has been opened.
