COAL OUTPUT
With regardl to the statement regarding the activities of iihe Coal Trad§ Department published recently, the Hon. Arthur M. Myers,. Minister in Charge, desires to point out that the output of 1,820,414 tons for 1918, mentioned in his statement, referred to the principal mines only. The total output from all mines, rts since supplied by the Mimes Department, is 2;034,250 tons. The output of hard (bituminous) coal for the sama year should be 1,122,308 tons, instead of 966,175 tons, as quoted..
