LODGE MEETING
Court Lady Glasgow, A. 0.F., celebrated the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Court on Friday ?by holding a "social" in the New Century. Hall, at which a number of Friends of Forestry were present. During the evening S.D.C.E. Bro. Taylor, on behalf of the Sisters, presented the secretary, Sister N. Hutchinson, with a silver ink-stand in token .of their appreciation of her services and kindly interest in the Court since its inception in 1894, she becoming secretary soon after the opening night. Sister Hutchinson suitably responded, and thanked those of the older members who for nearly 25 years had so loyally stood by her and assisted her in her efforts to make tlio Court a success. Songs were given by Sister G. Duncan, and a committee — Sisters Brown, Wallas, Roberts, Lawton, Tester, Smith, Powell, Duncan, Faulkner, Plant, Jones, Bull, Mills, Hanley, Payne, and the secretary—attended to the comfort- of the guests. Mr. Dean was in charge of the music, Mr. V. Astill acted as M.C., and the catering was in the ■hajids of Mr. Taylor.
