MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Mr. F. V. Frazer, S.M., presided at the Magistrate's Court this morning. Two first-offending inebriates were fined ss, in default twenty-four hours in gaol, and two others, who did not appear, were fined the amount of their bail, 10s.
Edwin James Clark, who had behaved in a disorderly manner while drunk, was fined £1, in default 72 hours in the cells.
John Edward Knox, who did not appear to answer a second charge of drunkenness within a month, was ordered, to •forfeit his bail, £1.
John Green was convicted and discharged on charges of having been found drunk and having broken his prohibition order, and was ordered to pay 17s 6d medical expenses.
John Galbraith was convicted and discharged for drunkenness, and was fined £2, in default seven days' imprisonment, for having used obscene language in a public place.
