A rather serious accident happened at Ngahauranga this morning to Mr. Charles Hall, of Jubilee-road, Khandallah, who has been employed for many years by the Wellington Meat Export Co. Mr. Hall slipped at tho top of an embankment and fell a distance of sixteen feet, striking his head on a concrete culvert. His injuries were at first regarded as very severe, and he was taken at once to tho Thorndon Private Hospital, where ho was attended to by Dr. Henry. At latest he was roported to be dome fairly welL
