THE MALTA.

The P. and 0. liner Malta, which arrived at Wellington yesterday from Egypt, will be loaded in New Zealand by the New Zealand Shipping CompaDy for London. She will go via Bombay.

An arrival at Wellington this morning was the Union Company's steamer Monowai, from Auckland and Napier. Owing to the rain today her departure for lyttelton and Dunedin has been postponed until to-morrow evening. Both the Kowhai and the Kaitaugata are to leave Wellington on Wednesday next for Westport. The Kara, which arrived at Wellington this morning from Oamani, will after discharge.load for New Plymouth. She will sail for the Tarauaki port on Thursday. The F. and S. liner Durham is to leave Napier to-night for Wellington.
