THE WAITOMO DETAINED.
Owing to some delay in her loading operations the Union "Company's/steamer waitomo will not leave Wellington for tyttelton and Cunedin until Thnrsday.
The Kahlka arrived at Westport this morn ing from Wellingtou, and is expected to leave there on the return trip at midnight. The Kamona is to leave Wellington for Greymonth at 10 o'clock to-night. .
jit is doubtful whether the Kaitangata will be able to leave Wellington to-day for Melbourne. .. !
Mr. .T. nice, assistant purser on the Mararoa, came aaliore to-day, and his-'place was taken by Mr. Coutts.
