THE SCHOONER COLUMBIA.

Following closely on the Tr»nsoc«»n the American four-masted schooner Columbia, 584 tons, arrived in the stream at Wellington this morning from San Francisco. The Columbia left the American port on the 17th October, and has thus made the trip in 53 days—a very smart performance. Good weather was experienced during the voyage. She has approximately 95,000 feet of timber on the deck, and about 18,000 cases of oil in her holds. It is understood that she also has a number or motor-cars on board. Captain E. W. Sprague, ,who is in command,' is accompanied ,by his .wife. A. S. Vaterson and Co. are thte local agents. The vessel was brought to the stream by Pilot Petersen.

It is not likely that the Columbia will berth until to-morrow. ' ,
