WORSER BAY SWIMMING CLUB
The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the \yorser Bay Amateur Swimming and .Life Saving Qlubj.i . held, at the clubhouse on Saturday evening :—Patron, . Mr. R. A. Wright/ M.P.; president, Mr. W. H. Green; vice-presidents, -Messrs. J. Birdie, E. Collie, W. W. Rowntree, F. , Silver, H. K. Robertehaw, and M. Manthell; captain, Mr. C..T. Bell; vice-captain and hon. treasurer, Mr. F. J..R. Heath;.hon. secretary, Mr. J. W- Hall; management committee: Messrs. F.v'Pycroft, V. L. Allen, E. Birdie, H. Warcup, K. J. Davidson, (R. P. Cooper, and w. Hall. A hearty vote of thanks was passed.to Mr. J. Brodie (who. has retired from the office of president) for his work in -connection with the club for.the past eight years. It was announced that Mr. H. Blick had presented the club with a silver cup for competition among the junior' members. The meeting decided that -the building of the new clubhouse be proceeded with at the earliest'possible moment, the present building being very much overcrowded dau'ing the height of the. swimming season. ■ '
